Aperol was created in Italy in 1919. It was during the 1950s that the Aperol Spritz became a popular drink, an alternative to the classic Venetian mix of white wine and soda.
How we make our Aperol Spritz:
fill your glass with ice, add:
60ml Aperol.
60ml prosecco*
dash of soda water.
garnish with a wedge of orange.
*The official recipe calls for 60-90-dash, the 90ml being prosecco. However I have found the recipe to be tastier with a balance of 60-60-dash. It depends on the prosecco you are using.
