Negroni Sbagliato
Negroni Sbagliatio at Cupid bar
The Negroni Sbagliatio was created when a bartender grabbed the wrong bottle and accidentally used prosecco in a Negroni instead of gin! Sbagliato (the “g” is silent) means “bungled” or “mistaken”.
30ml Campari.
30ml Martini rosso (or other red vermouth).
30ml prosecco.
Build in a rocks glass with one large ice cube and stir gently. Serve with a garnish of orange peel.
Negroni’s aren’t everybody’s cup of tea, which is kind of why we love them. If you’re a Negroni fan (someone who likes strong, bitter flavours) you will find this drink is a wonderfully refreshing variation. It is also less strong than a Classic Negroni due to the gin being replaced with prosecco.
